Based out of our Regina office, we’re looking for a driven Strategic Account Manager to represent both Canadian Plains Energy Services and its parent company Strike Group across Saskatchewan, growing strategic accounts and strengthening customer partnerships in the oil & gas, utilities, energy, mining, agriculture, and waterworks industries.
This is a high-impact role where you will build long-lasting relationships, champion customer success, and contribute directly to our ongoing growth and innovation.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Own and Grow Key Accounts: Manage a portfolio of strategic customers, ensuring strong, trusted relationships that lead to repeat business and new opportunities.
  2. Drive New Business: Identify, pursue, and secure new opportunities with both existing clients and prospects across multiple industries.
  3. Strategic Relationship Building: Foster strong networks with industry leaders, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities to position CPES/Strike as a contractor of choice.
  4. Customer-Centric Solutions: Understand our full-service capabilities and tailor solutions to support customer projects from start to finish.
  5. Build Strategic Roadmaps: Develop account plans that align with client goals and CPES/Strike’s strategic direction.
  6. Sales Leadership: Conduct impactful sales presentations, negotiate master service agreements, and promote our brand and reputation.
  7. Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Operations Management to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  8. Market Insights: Capture and analyze customer data, market trends, and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  9. Champion Our Culture: Act as a role model for our safety-first culture, Code of Conduct, and organizational values.

What We’re Looking For:
  1. Education: Diploma or degree in marketing, business, or technical trade certification.
  2. Experience:
    1. 5+ years in business development, account management, or hands-on experience in Saskatchewan’s oil & gas, mining, or industrial construction sectors.
  3. Skills & Attributes:
    1. Proven ability to close sales and expand strategic accounts.
    2. Strong communicator, presenter, and relationship builder.
    3. Highly organized, analytical, and a self-starter who thrives on results.
    4. Able to work independently and collaborate closely with internal teams.
    5. Confident negotiating and delivering value-driven solutions to customers.
    6. Willing and able to travel regularly throughout Saskatchewan and to Calgary.
