POSITION SUMMARY
The Quality Control Administrator provides support for the implementation and maintenance of quality control and assurance systems and policies throughout project life cycle for Canadian Plains Energy Services. Some of the responsibilities include executing all data entry and maintenance of all project quality control files and logs as well as adhering to and participating in the Canadian Plains Health and Safety program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist with ongoing management of quality systems, processes, and procedures
  • Maintain internal documentation and systems to the already established project quality process and offer suggestions and solutions that could potentially better the established process
  • Distribute approved quality control documents to the required personnel
  • Prepare and file final quality documents from the inspector's field copies as requested
  • Execute all data entry and maintenance of all project quality files and logs unless otherwise directed by the Turnover and Document Manager or Quality Control Lead
  • Ensure proper management, storage, and filing of all controlled documents
  • Assist the document control team as requested by the Turnover and Document Manager, Quality Control Lead, or the Document Control Lead
  • Assist and be an active participant in the project turnover lifecycle
  • Attend and participate in toolbox talks, tailgates, and safety and internal quality meetings
  • Adhere to and participate in Canadian Plains' Health and Safety program
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
  • Must have a high school diploma
Experience
  • 0-2 years in the oil & gas industry in an administrative role
  • Previous work experience in a quality administration role preferred but not required as suitable candidates will be trained and mentored on-site
