SUMMARY
The primary function of the Maintenance Foreperson is to provide site level "hands on" technical expertise. Maintenance Forepersons provide leadership and scheduling, and coordinate, supervise and ensure the safety and productivity of the crew. General Oilfield maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate in scheduling and work place planning

Manage and maintain client relationships

Participate in daily safety/tailgate meetings
-
Identify needs and deficiencies in the plan/schedule and communicate this to the appropriate people
-
Ensure quality and inspection of installation
-
Apply project procedures, work site policies and collective agreement requirements
-
Inform the Superintendent of any out of scope work
-
Provide crews with adequate supervision to accomplish tasks in a safe effective manner
-
Coordinate manpower movement within their area
- Ensure all workers receive the proper training
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-
Journeyperson trade certification in a relevant trade if possible
-
Five (5) to seven (7) years’ experience as a qualified and competent trades experienced person

Three (3) years of supervision experience

Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
-
Strong coordination skills and organization skills
-
Written and verbal communication skills
-
Valid drivers license
-
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Class 3 license would be an asset
